Special Delivery! Capes!

Part of being a Central PA Avenger is having the ability to dig deep and visit those who need it most. In our latest adventure our team did just that. Children's hospitals can be some of the most emotionally draining visits...
We visited Janet Weis Children's Hospital in Danville PA with our sole mission to deliver capes to the children staying there. Superhero capes for real heroes fighting their battles.

Capes of all types and sizes were delivered to those staying there. Captain America, Spider-Man, Merida and Anna went from room to room, making friends and leaving them with some lasting (good) memories we hope!

Each character sported some gold as well, it's Pediatric Cancer Awareness month after all! From bandannas to gold ribbons! The staff at the hospital was very nice, kind and informative. We couldn't have done it without our awesome escort Kayla!
