Pam has been with the team for some time now. Time to put the spot light on her!
A mother, wife and fellow con goer. She shares her costume making skills and motherly instincts to become a vital asset to Central PA Avengers.
Here's a little more about her and how joining the team has been a blessing!
I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Severe Anxiety three years ago. Frankly, the idea of me being in a large crowd of people terrifies me. Cosplay has helped. I joined Central PA Avengers in January 2016 and since that time, I have found myself starting to be a bit more comfortable in crowds and having people come up to me. The Team is great and make me feel safe. The Central PA Avengers has improved my health. The smiles of the children and adults seeing their favorite characters come to life is incredibly rewarding. Nothing beats the sound of a child’s laugh. It is great hearing the laughs and squeals of joy and seeing all the smiles. I get so much more from it. Living with PTSD is difficult, but having this team behind me and supporting me is making that a lot more manageable.
